Job Overview:  We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join our clients research team evaluating novel RNA based therapies for oncology. The successful candidate will interact with a dynamic team of scientists to conduct oncology and pharmacological studies in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo efficacy models.
 
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cancer biology and drug discovery research experiments using techniques in immunology, molecular and cellular biology to interrogate novel RNA based therapeutics.
  • Design, optimize, and set up cellular assays to characterize drug responses.
  • Conduct molecular, biochemical and related assays including qPCR, ELISA, Western blot, immunostaining and basic microscopy.
  • Process animal tissue samples.  
Primary Job Requirements:
  • BS in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related field with 4-6 years of industry experience.
  • Experience with a wide range of in vitro cellular and biochemical assays such as cell culture, western blotting, immunofluorescence staining, flow cytometry.
  • Extensive experience with cell line and primary cell culture/maintenance/expansion.
  • Experience in cancer cell biology/immuno-oncology is highly desired
