Job Overview:  Seeking a scientist with expertise in solid oral manufacturing and analytical lab practices for a role in Formulations Sciences, focusing on new chemical entities transition into human trials.
Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing solid oral prototypes, including blend preparation, under lead scientist guidance.
  • Independently assess drug properties using techniques like XRPD, DSC, TGA, and HPLC/UPLC.
     
  • Conduct stability studies, write development reports for CDMOs, and maintain compliant lab notebooks.

Primary Job Requirements:

  • B.S. in analytical chemistry or related fields with 2+ years in small molecule oral formulation development.
  • Experienced in solid dosage forms, blending, and compaction; eager to learn advanced formulation techniques.
  • Skilled in molecule characterization using HPLC/UPLC, DSC, XRPD, and TGA.
  • Expert in excipient use and solubility enhancement, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Self-driven, excellent at collaboration, adaptable in a dynamic, results-focused team environment.
