Contract Toxicologist (Part-time)

Job Overview: This role entails executing preclinical toxicology studies, collaborating with internal teams and regulatory bodies, and reporting to the Head of Preclinical Assessment to progress drug candidates from discovery through to clinical trials..
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Lead toxicology efforts to support preclinical programs.
- Manage and oversee toxicology studies with international CROs.
- Provide toxicology expertise to drive drug development from discovery to clinical phases.
- Represent the company in regulatory discussions and monitor outsourced studies for compliance.
- DVM/PhD with 5+ years in drug development for leading toxicology programs.
- Capable of handling multiple drug candidates and familiar with ICH & FDA safety regulations.
- Skilled in formulating customized preclinical strategies for small molecule research.
- Experienced in writing preclinical safety sections for regulatory documents (INDs/CTAs).
- Proficient in global team management and valued for outstanding communication; toxicology board certification preferred.
