Lab Manager (Contract)
Location: Lawrence, KS (Onsite)
Science/ Focus: Oncology
Job Overview: As a Lab Manager, you will ensure the efficient operation of our clients R&D laboratory by managing equipment, reagents, consumables, and collaborating with scientists, IT, and facilities.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure lab efficiency and safety.
- Manage inventory and storage of lab consumables and chemicals for uninterrupted research.
- Facilitate equipment training and maintain lab protocols to support research team competency.
- Require lab technician/manager with 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelors in Science.
- Must understand lab safety and OSHA regulations, and be skilled in supply procurement and inventory management.
- Need proven organizational skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
