Contract Clinical Outsourcing and Vendor Management
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
Therapeutic Area: Oncology
Job Overview: This position involves improving clinical studies through strategic outsourcing and vendor management, overseeing RFPs, contracts, and budgets, necessitating skills in outsourcing and negotiation.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategic contracting and negotiate with third-party vendors for clinical development needs.
- Implement vendor governance tools, such as scorecards and KPIs, to track outsourcing quality and performance.
- Collaborate across functions to optimize vendor relationships and ensure compliance with legal and financial guidelines.
- Bachelors degree (or higher) and 10-15 years of Pharma/Biotech experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience, with knowledge of the drug development process.
- Expertise in clinical development contracting and vendor negotiations.
- Knowledgeable in drug development and clinical trial outsourcing, with a preference for oncology experience.
- Proficient in implementing vendor governance tools such as scorecards and performance indicators.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
