Job Overview: Seeking a cell and molecular biologist to develop and analyze assays related to gene regulation for drug discovery initiatives.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop cell-based assays for RNA processing research within a drug discovery platform.
  • Refine in vitro assays for hit identification and MOA determination using cellular and biochemical methods.
  • Contribute to team meetings, platform enhancement, and maintain thorough experimental records.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced research setting.

Primary Job Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in cellular and molecular biology or related, with 4+ years in small molecule drug discovery.
  • Proficient in cell culture, viability assays, and gene expression analysis (qPCR, immunoblots).
  • Experienced in multiplex assays, 384-well qPCR, and luciferase/GFP reporter techniques.
  • Knowledgeable in chemical biology (IP-MS, ChIP-seq), pharmacological interventions, RNAi, CRISPR, and RNA biology fundamentals.
